Can you imagine how you felt when your children dropped out of school due to a lack of funds? This is how the parent of the children in our school feel coupled with a high rate of food items caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and bad governance. New reports in 2022 reveal that 18.5 million children, the majority of whom are girls, do not have access to education in Nigeria. A sharp increase compared to the 10.5 million the last year 2021.
Summer program at Helpers Foundation nursery and primary school
This summer program intends to engage children in extra curriculum programs during this summer holiday. Schools will vacate on the 10th of august 2023, we intend to begin the program immediately after the vacation. We have the best interest of the children at heart, this program is to enhance their improvement not only based on school activities but also on things that can help them in future.
We will be taking them on artwork and also on baking. Our aim is to keep them busy during the holidays and to inculcate things that will also help them to get small money for their upkeep either in the nearest future.
However, we are soliciting your support and donations to make this project a reality, we need to purchase some materials, appliances to improve the project and things that will fascinate the children in learning fast. We are also budgeting meals while learning.
