HSDF team visited Agu-Uwani in Akwuke Community of Enugu State on 25/05/2019. Time 10:00 Am. The programme held at The Redeemed Christian Church of God Hall. The aim of the programme was to encourage children education in the community and also motivate children in the community towards learning.
Mr Okeke Chidi spoke on the purpose of HSDF visit. He spoke on the missions & vision of the foundation toward children. The importance of educating children from their young age. He also encourages parents present to try their best in educating their children and wards. This is because children can grow and transform our society better through the knowledge acquired in education.
HSDF distributed Exercise books, Pen, Pencil, Rulers and Erasers to 95 children present on the occasion. HSDF team also shared refreshments of food, drink and water to the children in attendance. 51 girl child and 44 male children impacted
Pastor Francis while speaking, thanked the HSDF team for their charity activity to encourage learning in their community.
The community leader of Agu-Uwani Akwuke Community Mr. Okenwa Amos showed his impression on HSDF charity activity. He said that they are glad to see the encouragement and items their children received to support learning.
