How helpers Foundation supports orphans and less privileged children education in Nigeria. During this difficult time around the globe, we see a need to continue to offer help most especially to orphan and less privileged children because no one should be left behind. On 22nd June 2021, we received a call from the Headteacher of Agbani road primary school Enugu that some children in the school could not join other children’s to write while classes are going on due to difficulty from their parents to provide them with writing materials. On 28th June, we visited the school to support orphans and less privileged in the school who could not write due to lack of access to writing material.
How can we help less privileged children?
85% of those in primary to secondary schools in Nigeria are those from low-income families. Those families are faced with financial challenges due to poverty. We cannot allow their children’s education to be jeopardized. From January 2021 till date, we have supported 251 children’s education through our back to school campaign.
